I don't think it ever really closed. It's still doing business, I believe, in the old location.

That's not Campus Sub - but rather another sub store in the old location. Sorry Marc - but I don't know if the original (well not original, one of the Flood boys bought it) ever re-opened.

Sean Flood did buy it. Then moved to his other location in Hackensack. It is now owned by a Korean family, trading as "South Orange Sub Shop".

Matt...Sean opened a sandwhich shop in Hackettstown out toward PA, not Hackensack..easy to confuse.

South Orange Sub Shop is awful. Sean never did reopen, much to our dismay. South Orange needs a good sub shop.

I used to take orders for Campus Sub, but only inadvertantly. Campus sub was 762 5665 and we were 762 5666. We'd get call from people every month or so looking to order. We started taking the orders :-) Then we'd tell them there was a three hour wait and that it would be $47 bucks. or soemthign like that. They'd get the picture and redial.

That wasn't as bad as the constant calling from some old lady who didn't know what an area code was and would call the modem line... and she'd ask for Sophie. "Is Sophie there???" again and again. Well we tripped her up by getting a cat and naming it Sophie.

Jersey Mike's is the only sub chain worth a damn. Mr. Sub was good back in the 70's and 80's, but declined after. Campus was the only quality sub shop around- now there is none.

There is only one solution that that problem. If you get a call from the Sub Shop, don't show up.

mayor, the solution is to show up and casually ask the clerk/owner/manager if they think the rescue squad should help their sick/injuried coworker or customer.
