I was driving Mayhew last week and was almost in an accident with one of those huge dump trucks that go in and out of the construction site. He was barreling up Tillou and went right through the stop sign without even an attempt to stop - it forced me to lock my breaks and go up the curb to avoid hitting him. If I would have had the time to chase him down I would have but I was already late for where I had to be. He kept going with no concern at all. Can we please get the S.O. police to patrol the area a little more? It takes more than the electric speed signs but real enforcement before someone gets hurt badly. |

what about changing the traffic patterns on the side streets temporarily to force 4way stops...or allow Tillou to be a thru street with no stops? Have ever tried to start a fully loaded dump truck on a hill like that? Its just as dangerous for them to stop and try to start going again. common sense would allow them to use a level grade like Harding and force the contractor to repave it at job completion. But I'm sure those living on Harding won't have that? |

Malt, Everytime I witness that myslef (which is often), I notify John Gross and the police and they do tend to respond promptly. However, Pulte doesn't seem to care unless someone is sitting there every single day. |

I wouldn't blame pulte 100%...the trucking companies are probably sub-contracted. As someone who used to do a little bit of construction on the side...you can tell a subcontractor 100 times to do something one way and they don't follow your directions. |
