Went to TOSO last night and was pretty disappointed. The variety of restaurants in south orange was not really represented. Two italian restaurants. no mexican or southern represented. also, whoever had the idea to have us wait on line to first buy tokens and then wait on another line to get food???? too many long lines. saw a lot of people who didn't know they had to buy tokens to get a plate and waited 30 minutes to get food only to get to the front of the line to be told they had to get a token. it was better in past years being able to pay the restaurant directly...the lines are too long as it is...next year eliminate that extra token step...it was frustrating and time consuming.

I was disppointed that the food ran out so early. Which is a problem considering you cannot get a refund on your tokens.

If they will not give you a token refund, can't they allow you to by something like soda with them ,or perhaps use them toward your next bill at a restaurant?

A bunch of people were trying to figure out whether the restaurants donate the food to the event, or whether they get a cut of the take. Anyone know?

Main Street SO if this event shows such a demand maybe another can be planned for September when everyone is back from vacation. Thank you to all the volunteers who made it a success and posible.

Next year, someone should make it clear to the participating restaurants that they need to have enough of a supply of food to last until the real, actual end time of this event. I resent the fact that because I have to work longer hours than many people, I'm penalized by arriving at TOSO and finding that there are only three restaurants still serving food (and with lines all the way across the street). And while I'm critiquing, how about extending the event at least another half hour? Not everyone gets out of work at 5:00, and not everyone has a 15-minute commute home.
