bets' post last night got me thinking about who are my favorite posters in the "South Orange Specific" Topic of MOL. You know...who are the posters that you consistently say "YES!!" when you read one of their notes & wish you had said it in their certain way?
For me, it's got to be (in no particular order): Mary032, Two Sense, JayJay, Dave, Howard Levison, and bets (her posts before midnight). With an honorable mention to singlemalt, PeteGlider, Just The Aunt and Susan1014 who I agree with frequently, but not always.

Gotta add Mark Rosner, the trustee who posts most often and most helpfully on this site.
Very happy to have Eric DeVaris on the BOT -- appreciate his posts and would like to see him here more now that's hes on the BOT.
And of course, the master of documentation, Howard Levison!

Mark Rosner, Howeard L for information about what's going on in town.
Brett W, Brett, Cmonty, VG PeteG for well reasoned posts without resorting to name calling and tantrums.
And MHD, though I frequently disagree with his methods (and he thinks I'm someone else), tries to keep the fire lit under people.
Tom Reingold - not an SO resident, but still in a class by himself in terms of posters. Prolific, yet fresh and relevant each time.
Lots more that I didn't mention, mainly because so many times I read posts without looking at who authored them - unless it's something that I feel strongly about. |

My hat's off to Monster and Soda for their contributions from what appears to be a treasure trove of links and pictures. And I often "get" Tom/Nonymous/Tom-as (Hat?) Reingold's view of things. Rastro said it best.
Favorite link posted on MOL was the supernatural sighting in the "stupidest thing" post. /discus/messages/10210/71378.html?1119546435
And where would MOL be without the likes of Frodo and Cato's jocularity (besides on the high road...)?! They bring out the best of the worst in us--with flair. |
