Waxing nostalgic the other night at a friend's house warming, this came up. We had a large group of SO/Maplewood "kids" present. Very interesting. None of us are going to dump a body. It was more of a what spots in town are/where neglected & secluded. I made a case for that Water Treatment Area in Maplewood. It was like a DMZ 20 years ago. Just below Grunning's on the Hill near upper Lenox.

the best place i have found in our town is behind old man peabody's. the old coot just has a couple of cross bred, half toed himalayan wombats swimming in his outhouse. it smells like back of the b's. |

I was totally off. I knew a Terry B. Peabody who grew up on Buckingham Gdns. by Chysowych Field. He was related to Jill Lanzafame on Stirling Dr. East. |

First of all, East of West Fairview is Newark Bay so that's out. How about Bryar Ct.? Secluded, not too well known. You could probably smack someone around on that road. |

Last body (decapitated) dumped in these parts was found in South Mountain Reservation; so, that's clearly not the best place. How about the Beifus site; no one will ever discover it. |

I must admit I have never snuck around that park near Church St. It gives me the willies. My vote is for behind that useless wall next to the rescue squad. |

The park on Valley which used to be a cemetary before they hauled all the old bodies away. (I always wonder how they did that, and there are such fusses made over other body removals.) |

Just thinking out loud here. Is suggesting a place to dump a body to somebody who subsequently dumps a body considered an indictable offense as an accessory to the homocide? But then again, I'm in M'wood. What do I know? TomR TomR |

tomR, IANAL, but given that this was a hypothetical question, and we had no reason to believe that Matt would subsequently take our advice, I'd think we're clear. And if it was someone other than Matt, well they're just eavsedropping |

I don't get why you would want to dump a body at all. It would make such a good meal. White meat, dark meat, legs, liver, and thighs. Sounds good to me. |

Several people have found the reservation an excellent place to dump a body. The question is: Where is a good place to buy a large suitcase. |
