Seems I read that article some time ago. Maybe it was a slow news day there in Baltimore! Regardless, I'm sure in the end the university will do the right thing. |

I don't want to sound like I am defending him, but old Deal a Day Dennis is far from the worst of his ilk. I think his major problem was as he increased Tyco's revenue by more than ten fold he forgot where his money stopped and the company money started. Last I checked Tyco was still a going operation and I read somewhere that no Tyco employees testified against him. Kenny Boy he ain't.

Hey Tom - read the thread on "Kozlowski" - that covers most of it.
The media jumped into the water head first without sticking their foot in.... the article ran two weeks after Koz's conviction. Our Board of Regents is the final body to make decisions like this and they don't meet again until the end of the summer... the reporter failed to mention that even though I said that a few times as well. |

Hey Sheena-
Haven't seen you around in a while! Little B won't give up, despite us (my sister and I)telling him we finally have.
Almost every day he asks if I've heard anything. When I tell him 'Sorry, no' he tells me he hates me, I'm a liar and I'm no longer his aunt. Then he either storms off crying or slams the phone in my ear.
So is there any word on those basketball players you promised him and T playing the game with them and their friends? I'm at my wits end trying to make this up to him as I feel horrible.
Luckily he's down the shore until later tonight because I already have a nasty headach and I'm in no mood to deal with him right now. Maybe my suggestion of getting him a signed team picture with a note from the players will restore his faith in me?
I have a feeling this is going to end up costing me a lot of money. After you told them at their baseball game about playing with the SHU college team the following week, or the week after, and it didn't happen; I made the mistake of telling him I so was postive you would follow through, that if you didn't and the Yankees made it to the Play Offs this year I'd take them.

JTA - I called you last week for Wed. but no one picked up.
Like I said, my schedule is fine - it's just a matter of when the bball boys have time off from travelling, camps, school, etc. They already said they'd be happy to play with the kids in South Orange.
I promised before the summer ends. Teach your nephews patience and all will be good. I'll send out an email to the boys tonight and get back to you later tomorrow  |

Hmmm, last week? Are you sure you dialed the right number? I just checked the caller ID on my cell phone and regular phone, and I don't see any numbers I don't recognize.
I'm a little surprised you tried to call, when most of our communication has been through email. I haven't gotten an email from you since I responded to your 20 July email; where I suggested the picture idea.
Where in South Orange? I thought you told the kids they were going play at the college with the SHU player to keep it closed to others who happen to come along.
My nephews understand patience. You really can't blame them for being excited, disappointed and frustrated. My sister, the boys, and I were under the impression it was going to be sometime in the two weeks following the baseball game you went to.
This is why my sister didn't want them to know until it was 100% sure it was happening.
When it got to be mid July, I told the boys what you had told me about the team being away at basketball camp.
I'll tell my sister to check the kid's email. |

Sorry Sheena! And thanks. My sister informed me the kids think I'm taking them to a Play Off Game either way. Uh, I don't think so! They Devils Stanley Cup Game already cost me close to $900 when I took them to that!
Back on track-
Has a decision been made on what the building will be renamed? Did anyone float the idea of naming it after the young men who lost their lives in the fire? Or Dana Christmas who is responsible for less lives being lost? |
