I noticed yesterday that the South Mountain Jean store has at last emptied their windows of dusty faded merchandise, and have painted the windows in the alley. Hopefully this first step will continue as an ongoing effort to keep up appearances.

I'd like to see the Chinese take-out place next door to Antonella's clean up their front display also. many years old fading soda cans and dead bugs and cobwebs doesn't induce feelings of hunger in people. why such neglect?

The Great Wall has very good take-out, but I agree that we need a good Chinese Restaurant.

I have eaten at China Gourmet? - the restaurant down the street from Pal's - and it is quite decent. I am just tired of supporting other towns' restaurants ...

Another small step....Am I wrong or did they finally slap a coat of paint on the inside of Sunny's bagels? I don't recall it being green before.
