So who can we hire to get rid of them? Any suggestions?????

I believe we have a wonderful squirrel resort going in our eaves...they are very busy there and very happy. We would like the aluminum soffits taken down, the squirrels removed, and the soffits replaced.

Thanks for the advice!

I've heard really good things about Buckingham Pest Control, but have not needed them for anything.... good luck though!

I ask because I'm wondering about my own eaves... how can you tell when they've gotten into your eaves? I can see what seems like a LOT of squirrel activity around the gutters - they yell and call to each other and jump on and off a whole lot, but I haven't seen one actually climbing in anywhere, nor do I hear anything inside the house...

Unlike a house I drove past in West Orange the other day - I actually saw a squirrel climb right into someone's eaves through a tiny little space - seriously creepy...

You'd be amazed at the tiny space they can get in... as I understand it, if they're running on your roof you've got a problem - sooner or later they'll find (or make) a way in.

I had a tree company come out and trim back all the trees (including a few of my neighbor's trees) so that there was no good 'launch point' for the little bastards.

How can you tell? I assumed it was by sound; you should be able to hear them if they're in there.

Case:

Trimming trees doesn't cut it. (Pun intended) I've seen squirrels climb right up an exterior wall of a house.

Eire:

I would get an exterminator out to take a look at your squirrel situation. It sounds as if you might have a problem.
