(I just read that back with an exaggerated lisp and cracked myself up) OK - bought the house in July, love it - great new kitchen with new stainless appliances... BUT - how do you have a refrigerator with no magnets, and pictures of kids, and invitations, and all kinds of crap on it??? I just don't know!! magnets don't work on stainless steel, but does anyone know another solution so I can make my refrigerator a huge mess of pictures and crap like it's supposed to be?? thanks |

You can buy a new fridge with "titanium" finish, which looks a lot like stainless but is magnetic. LG sells a great one and I think Sears has the same fridge under their own brand. Otherwise, you could buy some of the grey magnetic latex primer paint (~$15/qt) and paint a part of your walls, door etc. You can paint a coat of regular color latex paint over the magnetic coat and you will have a great section for your magnetic display needs. Good luck w/the new home! |

We bought a magnetic stainless steel dry erase board at Target and stuck it on the fridge with some doublestick tape. We have a couple pictures on it and our grocery list. (Come on over and take a look, if you want, and meet the new guy!) |

I second Fun Tak. My home was actually in the Star Ledger for the things I've done with Fun-Tak. One of which was putting thin stainless steel tiles on the face of my plain beige fridge to make it fit in with the rest of the stainless motif. Pictures on request. |

Blue painters tape - doesn't leace a residue and works quite nicely. Enjoy! |

As an alternative to posting things on the fridge, you can get one or more magnetic boards and hang them on the kitchen wall. When we redid our kitchen, we had the contractor custom make two metal boards for us, framing them in the same wood as the new cabinets and hung the boards by the telephone. This makes a great message center. |

This morning I'd be happy to lend you the assistance of any or all of my kids. They can stand in front of your fridge and hold your notes, photos and magnets up for as long as you'd like. Feed and water them every few hours and they'll be fine. When should I drop them off? |
