Can anyone recommend to me a good yoga DVD? Obviously I would greatly prefer to take it in person, but as a single mom who works full time in Manhattan, I barely have time to eat, let alone go to a yoga place, plus I would have to hire a babysitter so it would be cost-prohibitive on a regular basis. I am considering joining my local Y, but in the meantime would like to explore doing it to a DVD at my own house. Any thoughts on a particular one? I am not a total yoga novice, having taken classes in the past, but I am not an expert, either.

Thanks!

Pick up the Power Yoga 1/2/3 - energize/tone/sweat.

They are great programs.

Good luck.

... also, if you want to save a bit of money and try before you buy, Netflix has a number of Yoga DVDs available for rental. Rent a few out, and see which ones you like.

We like Yoga for Everybody too, but for more challenge my husband has enjoyed Rodney Yee...I find him tough because I'm not too flexible. I bought a prepackaged set of Rodney Yee which included Family Yoga & Yoga for kids which are both great to do with the kids.

I like Rodney Yee's "A.M. Yoga" which I think is fairly accessible to beginners. I also enjoy Rodney's "Yoga For Energy" which is more challenging. I am not a fan of "Power Yoga" and its emphasis on turning up the heat and sweating.

I've purchased a few dvds from www.collagevideo.com. They carry a number of workout videos/dvds, but you can do a search for yoga dvds and even check out a preview.
