I have a sofa & matching chair, several (maybe 3?) years old, but not that old. It's a great set, I love it, the upholestery is in good shape.

However, the sofa & chair are in a high-use area, and the cushions have compressed badly and unevenly over time. I keep rotating them and moving them around but it is really a losing battle. fwiw, they are made of foam rather than stuffed.

Can you get foam or other cushions made to measure, to fit inside the zipper-cushion-covers that are on the current cushions? I am assuming that you can probably do anything for a price, but have no idea where to go for something like this or what would be a reasonable cost.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, we had to do the exact same thing with ours - we were sinking very uncomfortably into our couch and chairs, kept flipping them, which didn't help. We brought the cushions to Ultimate Upholstry at 392 Valley Street, 973-378-5924. They put a firmer cushion in for us and it's so much better. The foam they put in is a lot better quality than what the manufacturer originally put in. It wasn't that expensive either (don't remember the price off-hand now). And...they're really nice there.
