It's that time of year again! I asked this last year and wound up getting my superbowl wings from Star Tavern, they were good, but I wanted to see if there have been any additions, deletions or changes in the category of best wings around.

So, where are the best wings in the area?

Thanks

I hear Hooters has really good wings. Keep in mind I don't eat them, nor do I ever frequent the place, but that's what I hear.

Also don't know if you can take-out. Seems to me most places these days offer take-out, so it certainly can't hurt to check!

I am actually a big fan of Hooters wings & I would recommend trying their buffalo shrimp as well...very tasty! Before they were on 22, the husband and I would go down to Atlantic City, have some wings, play a few hands of blackjack and go home.

If you go to Hooters don't stop with the wings, you have to check out the breasts.

Sorry, just couldn't resist.

I thought Hooters wings were dry and pretty tastelesss. The Office has excellent wings. There's one in Summit and Montclair.

I like my wings in the traditional Buffalo Style, which is just deep frying the wings with no batter, then the sauce being a combination of Frank's Red Hot and melted butter.

Hooters are batter dipped first, then deep fried. I agree with heart rn as The Office does it in the traditional style. Bring on the Blue Cheese dressing!

In South Orange, on South Orange Ave. is Cluck U. They specialize in chicken wings. The menu is complete with a degree of spiciness that requires you sign a waiver! If you want wings, I can't see not using them.
