Any suggestions getting balloons filled with helium? Is there a party place that will do it for you? Or can you do it yourself with some sort of a canister?

Party City sells a do it yourself canister for around 20.00 or you can buy the balloons there and have them fill them for you.

I filled some balloons at the convenience store on South Orange Ave. It used to sell cigars, and it has a toy store in the back. I forget the name. It's next to Bank of America.

I brought in my own balloons and got some flack filling them, but they do sell their own. I think they prefer to sell you THEIR balloons filled with helium.

I needed some last minute balloons for a 1 yr. old's party. Bought a pack of balloons at Kings for $1.99 and they filled the manager for free. They weren't huge, but I was using them as a centerpiece, so it didn't really matter.

party city has a third option where you can rent a tank for $25, plus deposit, and fill your own. i think it does 45 12" balloons, whereas the disposable tanks they sell there and places like costco fill 9" balloons. For them to do the balloons for you, it costs $5.99/dozen. I know, because i just did it a few weeks ago.

I also hear the dollar store near Best Buy sells helium-filled balloons. I don't know which one though - there are two in that group of stores now.
