We've recently moved to the area and are searching for a couple of good, reliable babysitters who we can call upon as needed. Preferrably local high school students, who are responsible, fun and good with kids.

We have 3 kids. A 5 year old girl and twin 2 1/2 year old boys.

Feel free to forward this to any interested parties. Thanks.

Pete

If you don't get any responses with names from this you might want to try what I used to (successfully) do.

Make a few of those flyers that has the pull tags (that you see all over brooklyn I'm sure). But make sure it's very colorful and kid like. Bring it to the High School and ask for the Guidance Office. When you get there make sure that you hand it directly to at least one of the couselors.

I did this a couple of times and usually got two or three responses per posting. But I was far more successful when I made sure that the signs actually landed in the hand of the guidance counselor.

You'll definitly want to screen the girls carefully, but I always found at least one girl that I loved (and my kids loved even more). After you meet a couple of the girls you can also ask them to recommend their friends.

Good luck.
