Hey --
On Thursday I need to catch a 7:30 am Amtrak from Newark -- how long does it take to get to Penn Station that time of the morning?

Just to be on the safe side, figure 20 minutes to get to Penn Station, if you take Route 78 to Route 21.
(I do it every day, and sometimes it takes a little longer than 11 minutes)
There's a parking lot behind the station. If you leave home a little before 7:00, you're probably okay.
