My daughter loved Dr. Beth Dorogusker. A lot of people do so she can be hard to schedule. She is at 1 Lenox Place in Maplewood Village.

We really like Stacy Ullman. I understand the others in her group are also super with adolescents. She's on Bank St, in Summit.

Does anyone have any comments on/experience with Ronnie Stern, Nancy Distell or Amy Brams? These were recommended for younger child.

Thanks!

You might want to talk to Dr. Steve Tobias in Morristown. I'm sorry, I don't have his number offhand.

He is fantastic, and he has co-authored a book as well.

We used Ronnie in the village for a couple of months. She has a way with little kids. She is kind and easily gains their trust. Like most therapists for younger children she engages them in play and gets them to talk while they are playing.

Unfortunately she determined that we were beyond her capacity and referred us to Dr. Martin Silverman. Dr. Silverman is also very good, though sometimes I wonder whether he or nature has had more of an impact on our child.
