This is also posted in Home Fix-It because I am desperate. Can anybody recommend a company that replaces an oil forced air furnace? The other similar threads are about gas furnaces and Air Group, etc do not do oil. Also, can anyone speak to whether it is worth converting to gas? The pros and cons. Thanks so much - our old furnace is kaput. Joy. Handygirl

Start with you heating oil supplier. Gas is probably better, but this will probably require that you decommission your oil tank and if it is outside this can lead to all sorts of problems. |

Oil tank is comfortably resting in the garage. No underground oil tank - thankfully. Why do you think that gas is better? Handygirl
