Pintona did a great job on our house. Cheaper than Rutgers, too. And did two coats. And some carpentry. And very nice.

Pintona's number is 973-762-2949. I didn't find that they were cheaper than Rutgers though.....our estimates came out with about an $1100 difference. As for the services each would provide, they look pretty much the same- one layer of primer, 2 layers of painting. The only real difference that I see as I look at the estimates is that Rutgers includes windows and reglazing and Pintona charges an extra $25 per window, which is not in our original estimate. So, all said and done, Pintona would probably come out to be around another $500- making the difference more like $1600.

We used Mario's Painting both inside and outside a few years ago and were very happy. They are listed in MOL biz directory.

We liked Jacek, don't have his # handy but you can find it in the archives.

More expensive than Rutgers and Pintona though. But VERY thorough and lots of attention to detail.

Mario's did 4 houses on Garthwaite last year and each house looks great! They are doing our next painting- those men worked really hard and did a great job sanding each house-not that Rutger's doesn't...Rutger's is just steeper than others that I have had estimates from and the work of Mario's crews seems comparable.
