I am interested in buying a share in a CSA for the upcoming season. Does anyone know of any established programs in the area?

the purple dragon coop is local and the pickup is in Maplewood. There is one full share and one half share available. Private line me if interested. We love it.

Ink, I might be interested. I am trying to decide between HoneyBrook, which we did 2 summers ago or Purple Dragon, which we had done in JC and I tried a few times here years ago.

Purple Dragon delivers throughout the year, correct?

Any other info you can give me from firsthand experience?

Yes, Purple Dragon delivers year round. It's every other week, and the amount is two full bags of fruits and vegetables - very nice variety, fresh, and organic. For example, this past week, we got tangelos, apples, bananas, two types of lettuce, spinach, onions, cabbage, carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes. The pick up is Saturdays in someone's garage on Tuscan. It costs $42. every other week. You can contact info@purpledragon.com to find out who to contact locally to join.
