This is for a friend of mine who's moving into town soon and couldn't get her kid into the Y...

I recently noticed what looks like a new daycare center on Valley Street but can't remember the name. (I'm in my office right now.) I think it's near Kelly's Kids. Anybody know of it or heard anything about it?

Thanks.

I have no info on this but I thought I'd post a list of centers I've compiled. Might help your friend find a place.

And if she is still interested in the Y tell her to stay on their waiting list. Sometimes it moves faster than you think.

Good luck!

Thanks much, Wendyn!

I was looking for your list in the education threads, but that section has been temporarily disconnected

I think I just found a reference to it in an archived thread:

Norbury Nursery & Preschool on 391 Valley.

Anybody heard anything about it?

I'm gonna start a new thread in the newly opened Education section as well.

Is it next to Pathmark? If so, it used to be Discovery. I think the owners went out of business (I heard it was because of a large tax bill for new business construction which they had not anticipated).

The facility is very nice, purpose built. I don't know how the new owners are operating.

Akb,

Yes, I think it is where Discovery used to be.
