Does anyone know where we can buy prepackaged sympathy thank you cards we can send to people thanking them for their kindness and thoughts for our family's loss? We don't like the boring plain ones the funeral director in NY showed us. I know they have packaged thank you cards specially for this as I bought the one and only package at Treasure Island the other day. If it's okay with Dave; I'm going to scan one into the computer and upload it later so you can get an idea of what I'm looking for. I've searched online with not much luck. Thanks |

I believe the funeral home should have them in stock. |

The funeral home probably does have them, and any place that does printed cards like a hallmark should have them also, but here are a few online resources: http://www.personalizedpaperstore.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi?CMD=009&DEPT=1079706352& CAT=1090883384&SUBCAT=1122052909&BACK=A0008A1B01079706352B1C01090883384C1 http://www.thesympathyshop.com/display.php?display=type&type=sympathythankyounot ecards http://www.thefuneraldirectory.com/pv_card_thankyou.html

I used the cards we got from the funeral home when my Mom died and I found they were perfectly adequate for the purpose but when I had a special note I wanted to send to someone who had been especially kind and/or helpful while Mom was in her last days or in helping with the funeral arrangements and such, I used a nice blank card and wrote a personnel message of thank you inside. The stationer on Baker Street has some very nice card stock which would serve such a purpose. For pre-packaged thank you cards that already contain a suitable message, you can check at Maplewood Stationers on Maplewood Avenue. If he doesn't have what you are looking for, Charlie may be able to order something suitable for you. |
