Central Bath & Kitchen in Orange? Buying a new 36" vanity, vanity sink top and Toto toilet. Found them via Toto authorized dealers near S.Orange. Their 3 recommendations for removal of old and installation of new were 1. Toddy & Rocky James 2. CMC Construction - John Cimino 3. Rose Hill - Anton Peterkin Anyone ever use any of them for anything? Comments? Tips? Thanks! Sorry, I just realized I meant to put this in Home-Fix! Will post there now. |

We hired John Cimino to renovate our bathrooms and bought all plumbing supplies from Central Bath & Kitchen. A valve on a supply pipe for the shower burst just after it was installed, causing about $15,000 in damage to our home. Both John Cimino and Central Bath & Kitchen disclaimed responsibility and it took around six months of living with half of our first floor destroyed to get our insurance company to cover the damage, since they took the position that we had a faulty plumber or a faulty part, but not a pure accident. Speaking of the plumber, he immediately disappeared off the face of the earth and John Cimino claimed to have no contact information for him other than the disconnected cell phone number. Also, one of our Toto toilets frequently won't stop running and the other sometimes needs to be flushed twice, but that might be due to faulty installation. |

We went there once and stood around for about 1/2 an hour before someone even acknowledged us, and then only to actually take the catalogue we'd picked up out of our hands and tell us to come back when we had an appointment, but without offering to make an appointment. I think you can buy Toto toilets a lot of different places. |
