I've been using this dry cleaner for many years, but she just can't get dark-colored shirts right. They almost always come back with some kind of dark stains on the front. I bring them back and she'll happily re-do them, but it's inconvenient to have them out of circulation for so long. It's only dark-colored shirts; she does everything else fine. Anyone have a dry cleaner/laundry that's handled this kind of thing well for you?

Have you tried Gleason's? They have always done a great job for me. |

We use Gleason's and have had this happen from time to time. Usually right at the collar corners. It is the starch. We have them do hand ironing now, and it happens much less frequently (but, of course, costs a bit more.) |

Yeah, I thought it might be the starch. Mine get stained right on the chest. |

Give Cashmere Cleaners a try. My husband is very pleased with the job they've been doing on his shirts and our clothes for the last 8 years. Gleasons is just too expensive. Cashmere is in the strip mall on Academy Street - where Heart & Soul restaurant is. |

Shhhhh - please don't tell them you heard it online, but if you nicely ask Gleasons for a discount and you're a regular customer they know by sight, guess what... |
