Does anyone have any suggestions for kid-friendly places or events this weekend? My 8 yr old nephew will be staying with me all weekend. Thanks!

Check out rock climbing at Diamond Gymnastics on Rt 10, or the Funplex in the same driveway entrance - they have rides, a huge fun ball thing in the middle that kids can shoot strangers with ball shooting guns (harmless fun), laser tag, bumper cars (of course you'll have to play too...), check out the science museum at Liberty Park, he might not be too old to toss a roll of pennies - one at a time - into the center of the big ball fountain at the Short Hills Mall and then eat at Johnny Rockets.

If you go into NYC, he might like the wax museum or the Sports-themed place restaurant that someone else will know the name of off 42 St. The Baron Rabinovitzj show at The New Victory Theater on 42nd is great/funny and for kids.

Good luck!
