I was told there was a studio that does Bikram Yoga on Millburn Avenue. Does anyone know the name of the place? I did a google search and only came up with a studio in Westfield. I also did a search here but did not find the place that I'm looking for.

I have never tried Bikram yoga before but it seems very interesting. If anyone has any feedback on this, please let me know.

Thank you!

The place on Springfield is called Shakti.

Don't know if they do Bikram as I've never been interested. Check the schedule on their website.

I think the place on Millburn used to be called Elite Fitness, then it turned into a yoga studio. Haven't heard anything lately, but searching under Elite might get you a number. It's right next to Subway Salon.

Thanks guys. VIG- I think that's the place. I couldn't find the name of the yoga studio so I may have to drive by and check it out.

Bikram yoga is amazing. It's tough but wonderful. It's different than Hot Yoga, fyi. And I believe there is one in Summit.

Bikram is a specific "brand" of yoga which follows the teachings of it's founder, Bikram something (I don't know his last name). He is based in LA, made a lot of money, has a lot of cars.

Hot Yoga simply refers to yoga done in a hot room.

The name is Bikram Chowdhury and indeed he does have a slew of Rolls Royces in Beverly Hills.

Bikram yoga is done in a room with very high temperatures--80 degrees or more--and thus the two are the same.
