this is embarrassing. we were given (honest) a pair of kids shoes a relative must have bought on the street, and they have one of those theft-prevention buttons the salesclerks remove with the gun-like thing. It's about the size of a dime, but tall, and I don't know if it's magnetic or not. Any idea how to remove it? thanks! and stop snickering! |

Should be pretty easy to get off with a pair of diagonal cut or end cut pliers. |

How do they get them off in a store? That should be the way to go. |

If its electronic you'll be fine - hopefully its not one of those 'ink' tags... those can be messy, to say the least. |
