MISSING in NJ !
Dog
Schnauzer,Terrier Mix

Size: Medium
Age: Young
Sex: Male
ID:

Notes: SUNDAY FEB 26: THIS DOG ESCAPED FROM HIS NEW OWNER ON SUNDAY 2/23 AROUND 5:00PM DURING A WALK ON FARVIEW AVENUE IN WESTWOOD, NJ. HE JUST HAD EYE SURGERY AND WAS STILL WEARING A PROTECTIVE PLASTIC COLLAR. HE ALSO HAD A LEASH AND COLLAR WITH RABIES AND ID TAGS. HE IS ALSO MICROCHIPPED. ALTHOUGH HE MIGHT BE A LITTLE TIMID AT FRST, HE IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFULL WITH OTHER ANIMALS AND HUMANS, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN. HE WILL ANSWER TO THE NAME "SCHNOODLE". IF YOU HAVE SEEN THIS DOG, PLEASE CALL 201-310-7204

Schnoodle is about 9 months old, up to date on his shots, already neutered and microchipped. He is a great playful dogs good with other dogs but not with cats. He is our special needs child right now. He has endropion in both eyes and will need eye surgery. It is not serious. All that means is his eye lashes are inverted and irritating his eyes to make them runny. Eye surgery will correct this and then he will be fine. We are looking for donations to help with this surgery or a family who is willing to take this surgery on after adopting him. If interested please call Denise at 973-785-1245 (Voicemail box #3) or e-mail her at Startdogs@aol.com I am sorry but we do not adopt out of state! Not all dogs on our website come to all adoption days. Applications are being accepted. If you are interested in adopting this wonderful pet, please take a moment to complete our Online Adoption Application The filling out of this application does not guarantee an adoption. Once applications have been APPROVED, appointments will be made to meet our dog. Please visit our Home Page to see all of the pets we have for adoption.

This pet is: up to date with routine shots, already house trained, altered

SPW:

I think this post is more about getting funds to pay for the dog's surgery than expecting the dog to turn up in SO/M.

I was confused, because the one part says he NEEDS eye surgery, and the other says he just HAD it.

Maybe they probably don't operate on both eyes simultaneously...

The way I read it, the lowercase paragraph is the advertisement to adopt the goopy eyed dog.

The ALL CAPS is an update that the new owners who adopted the dog got it the eye surgery, then lost it!

If the dog makes it to South Orange from Westwood alive I'll be sure to call. What a mess.
