If you get to a retail site via these sites, you'll get a certain % of your order back. I recently got a check from ebates, so I know they're legit. Most national retailers take part in their program. If you do that and also google the retailer and "promo code" or "coupon code" you can usually get a combined discount of about 10-15%.
