Hi,

I have Capital One Visa. I am interested in trying another card. The one option I like with Capital One is the year end summary. My problem is every year I must beat them down to get it.

Any other cards out there provide a similar service less AX.

We have cards from Chase and they provide year end statements. Seems like a pretty standard thing. I had Capital One and dropped it. I didn't really like the customer service.

That is exactly why we plan on dropping them (poor customer service).

Blue from American Express. No fees, and you get many of the benefits of the regular card (including miles!). Also gives you year end statement.

I really like my Amex Blue card. From the Rates to the summery to the benefits, the only problem is I have been screwed a few times when people wouldn’t take Amex, so I have to carry a second card.

I highly recommend the book What Every Credit Card User Needs to Know: How to Protect Yourself and Your Money by Howard Strong. You will learn a lot.

And pay your bill off at the end of the month. Why let some big company get rich off your money? Paying the bill means they're loaning you money at 0%, although for a short time.

Not a good idea to carry two cards from the same company. Blue would do that to me.

Any other suggestions on whoms to shop?

Tom - thanks for the link.
