I've been lurking on the boards here for a while, and got some good recommendations for doctors in the past - but I just changed jobs, and health plans, and now am at a loss...

These three docs are in my new plan, and a lot of others aren't. Anyone have any experience with them?

Dr. William DiGiacomo, Union.
Dr. Michael Durante, Maplewood? (Plan says he' in Millburn)
Dr. Michael Solomon, Millburn.

Thanks!

ps: Please don't recommend Summit Medical Group. I've had too many bad experiences there. Yes, some of the docs are very good, but a lot of them aren't and the administrative side is a disaster.

Dr. Michael Durante is good, I've been seeing him for years. He used to be in Maplewood but now has offices in Millburbn and Nutley.

I like Durante too. My husband and I both go to Durante and we both think he's tops. He's a good listener, which I really like in a doctor. He's in Millburn but just over the border on Millburn Ave. Not far at all.

Thanks guys. Based on such glowing reviews, I'm going to check Dr. Durante out.

If you need a physical be prepared to wait about 2 months and have to take off of work. He only does physicals on one (possibly 2) mornings and the hours are very limited.

A check up? I don't know, I suppose it's best to call.
