I submitted an ad and was asked to pay $3.99. I'm happy to support Dave and Jamie and MOL, so that's not a problem. But is charging new policy? Did I miss an announcement? Or did I exceed some limit? Or??

Quite the bargain, considering that the Ross boys have done a lot to weed out the scammers. Unless you're giving something away, you can always add in the cost to the selling price to cover your out of pocket.

I've bought and sold a number of items through this service and never had any of the problems you can experience through local newspaper classifieds.

Agreed. And never the problems from all the kooks from Craig's List.

(When selling my Accord, several people were surprised to find the clutch right there next to the brake, even though the ad clear stated "MANUAL TRANSMISSION NOT AUTOMATIC CLUTCH FIVE SPEED.")

I happen to know that this charge was put in by Dave so that he could reach his goal in life to own a house made entirely of gold and a rocket car.

If you add something under Free Items - there isn't a charge.

It's a bargain. Thanks Dave & Jamie for providing this venue to the community at large. Now if you would just start a newspaper...

I strongly second the "start a newspaper" request!!!!!!!

(One with all the local news - even the "bad" news - and proper grammar, please!)

Just a heads-up: the rocket car is way overrated. I was really, really disappointed with mine.
