I have a couple of older (5 years) PCs that work fine but we don't need them any more. Does anyone know of an organization or person who could use them? I don't even necessarily want a tax deduction for them, I just hate to throw them away. Thanks for any input.

If you haven't , you might want to post in technology section. Also, I wonder if the local schools might not want them. Maybe call the board of ed and see if they accept?

Day Cares and Churches are sometimes looking for PC's - have you checked either of those?

CageyD, I sent another email to the aol address you sent me but it was bounced back. So then I sent you another PL. Don't know if any of this is working. Going off to my piano lesson. Will check back later.

I would try churches, synagogues, preschools and the like. They're usually very happy to get whatever is offered them.

Also Chai Judaica (on Millburn Ave) has a Chabad Hebrew school, and I bet they'd love a student computer.
