We'd like to buy a used highchair, either wooden or plastic. Please email me at tuscanmama@yahoo.com if you have one to sell or have a recommendation on where to find one. Thanks.

Check out Milk Money on Ridgewood in Maplewood. They are only open a few days a week - I think Wed - Sat. They have a lot of stuff and also will take your name and what you're looking for on a list.

I would recommend a Chicco Mamma chair, but my experience is from about 3 years ago and I'm sure things have changed/improved since then.

And Other Mother's on Irvington in S.O. They have tons of stuff.

We used at $25 Graco high chair for 3 kids and it worked just fine. IMHO, there's no real need to spend a lot of money on a high chair.

If you have an extra regular chair, you can get a booster seat that doubles as a high chair at Babies R Us for about $30. It tilts back for when they are too small to sit up, and has a removable tray so you can continue to use it as a true booster.

We didn't have space for a high chair in our kitchen, so I just strapped this seat to a kitchen chair and it worked great through 2 kids.

I will say that my kids are small, and I can see bigger kids might outgrow it and need a different type of booster at some point.
