Ok, all you transplants. My 23 year old son needs to pick a doc for his new United Healthcare coverage. Just got a his first apartment and job and now his own healthcare choices.

Anyone have a great doc in Hoboken that takes United Halthcare? Dan's on 7th and Willow but I guess he could walk just about anywhere in Hoboken.

I go to a great doctor on Newark Avenue in Jersey City. Not a far walk from the Grove street Path Station (just down the street from the courthouse). His name is Edward Boylan. Been going to him for years and refuse to switch because it took me so long to find someone I like, and I really like him.

Have no idea what healthcare plans he participates in though.

I too have United Healthcare and I see Dr. Neno on Hudson Street. I believe it's the South Hudson Medical Group. They're great, and since I work in Hoboken it's very convenient. I highly recommend them.

If Justin Fried is in your plan, then I and at least half of other MOLers will recommend him. His office is at Millburn Avenue and Valley Street and phone number is 973-763-0808.

We really liked our old (as in previous) Hoboken dentist. Dr. Frank Depaulo or Dipaulo or something similar in spelling on Hudson St. and 11th, I think. In the Shipyard apt. building next to Starbucks. Highly recommended.

Oops - I missed the part about it needing to be in Hoboken ... that's my fault for not paying attention to the beginning of the thread.

When living in Hoboken, I really liked Paul Teodoro. He is on 422 Grand Street. He is on UHC.

Now if I could only remember my dentists name, he was the best.

Dr Lucas is good...but a little aggressive in treatment. For example, her office (meaning her colleague, not her) pushed for my wisdom teeth to be extracted. The dentist here said not to worry about it for a while.
