My wife's nephew installed I-tunes on our Dell.
The whole system has slowed down and some programs have stopped working.I removed the I-Tune program and things are working better.
Have any of you had a similar problem.

No. Does the slowdown occur when the ipod is connected or all the time? I suspect it is polling the hardware and something is wrong with the hardware, so the polling taxes the cpu.

I'd hit the Apple support and discussion boards.

http://support.apple.com/

You can find help for Windows iTunes there.

The I Tune software seemed to be causing the problem. I went to the apple support site, I don't know what I did but it is working fine.
thanks for all your help.
