Yes I know Memorial Day is a little more than two months away but this is the time of year when we start making up the roster of groups who will be marching in this year's parade. The following groups have already agreed to participate this year:
Maplewood Memorial VFW Post 10120
Newark Police Post, VFW
Maplewood Township Committee
Columbia HS Marching Band
Girl Scouts
Boy Scouts
Maplewood Boy's Lacrosse Club
Maplewood Civic Association
Hilton Neighborhood Association
Citizens' Budget Advisory Committee
Columbia Cable Network
Rotary
Kiwanis
If your youth group, youth athletic team, school-based organization, service organization, civic organization, neighborhood association, church (or synagogue) group or veteran's organization is not mentioned above and your group would like to march this year, please post the information here or send me a private line.
I am especially interested in hearing from groups which have marched in prior years such as:

Would any veterans of the United States Armed Forces or active members of the United States Armed Forces who will be in town on Memorial Day and who are interested in being in this year's Memorial Day Parade please get in touch with me. The veteran does not have to march, transport can be arranged for those who prefer to ride as long as I have sufficient notification to make arrangements.
