What if you're one of those neanderthal-types who don't do online credit card purchases? How do I pay the $3.99 fee? |

Are you stating for the record that you are a Neanderthal or are you refering to the hypothetical Neanderthal type?. Either way one should probably use the "Mastedon Charge" or "American T Rex", charge cards, but they make accept pelts in exchange. |

I'll need to give offline instructions on the site. If you want to pay by check - you can mail it to: Maplewood Online LLC 4 Highland Place #3 Maplewood, NJ 07040 Or give credit card over the phone - 973 762-0119. We started charging a few weeks ago. We also are promoting ads on the homepages of our sites - $3.99 is a great deal! Especially if you compare with the News-Record - 20 words or less is $20 with no picture. Plus you get to sell to local people, unlike Craig's list where people can come from anywhere. |

I think there have been fewer $10 and under items. But for the larger items, I think it's been fairly consistent. I would like to make it a tiered system where it won't cost as much for the lower items, I just don't have that feature rigged up at the moment. |

Just wondering because my wife says she noticed the dropoff. I see that no items were posted on Tuesday, which strikes me as odd, but I'm not a regular visitor. What's to stop Craigslisters from putting "Maplewood" in their ads? Or, more to the point, isn't it the buyers who care about locality, and not sellers? You want to drive 100 miles to buy my old kitchen table, no skin off my nose. Why should I care that you aren't from Maplewood? |

I agree that the fee is reasonable, but I was VERY spoiled by "free". Mostly, I didn't see any way to pay it other than online. Thanks for clarifying. |

Where are the classifieds now? I don't see them listed in "topics". Thanks. |

If you're looking for feedback on the classifieds section (not that you asked)... it would be great if the 4 or so most recent posts under categories such as Free Items, Garage Sales, etc. were displayed on the homepage, rather than being buried down a click. Even still, it's becoming a really useful area of the site, and i appreciate you maintining it! |
