These damn things are EXPENSIVE! Anyone know where I can rent a frozen-drink machine for a day or two?

How about going old school with a blender?

Two minutes - not bad!

Eh... blenders are fine, I guess, but we're expecting a big crowd - and blenders aren't really the right thing for a real frozen drink.

I'm repeating something I've heard, of course - as a man, I only drink beer and scotch. And occasionally mudslides... those are great; they're like ice cream but they get you all kinds of messed up.

There's actually a great drink that I remember from younger days called the Black Death. It's a 'regular' drink, similar to a Long Island Iced Tea but much deadlier... I always thought it would transfer nicely to a frozen milieu:

(Serves Two)

1 Shot of Vodka
1 Shot of Gin
1 Shot of Tequila
1 Shot of White Rum
1 Shot of Triple Sec OR 1 Shot of Grand Mariner
3 Shots of Grenadine
4 Shots of Orange Juice

Combine ingredients with ice in a large pitcher. Shake well. A proper Death will have a pink, slightly fluorescent color and be very easy to drink - add orange juice if necessary. Pour one shot of Jack Daniel’s over the top of the pitcher (for the “Black” Death only).

PS - I should get extra points for using an SAT word like "milieu".
