Does anyone know the proportions of coffee to water to use for a perculator? I've never used one before! (I'm not sure the size of the perculator, but it's one of those big ones, for a party.)

Oops, it's "percolator." You can tell I'm a rookie!

Except don't put it on the stove, just plug it in. I remember when "electric coffee pots" were considered very modern. I made my coffee in a stovetop percolator until I was in grad school, when I finally got a Mr. Coffee. I kept that old stovetop perker a long time though.

One good thing about perked coffee: It is strong! Got me through college.

I believe it is one tablespoon of coffee per cup of water. However not the size of a coffee cup but an actual measured 8 oz cup. This should work for you.

If it's a 50 cup perk, one can of coffee works.
