Seems like 30-ish a half hour, based on my son and several of his friends.

Sounds about right. My kid's lessons are $40 for a 45 minute lesson.

My sons are about $25 a half hour, but we also get a reduced rate because I have three kids taking lessons. If you are interested in our teacher (in South Orange, wonderful and gentle) PL me.

My most recent fees were $60 for an hour, $50 for 45 minutes, and $35 for 30 minutes. However, I'm not teaching now (full time composing).

Good luck!

Now that you ask, I recommend my wife. Even without my bias, I think I would say she is wonderful.
