Anyone have a house cleaner/cleaning service they love and would reco? Also, what are the going rates for house cleaning?

We love Carla and her crew. We have a three bedroom house with two extra rooms and pay her $85/visit. They come every two weeks. If they came every week, it would be $80.

Tom,
May I ask if Carla is usually in the house with her team? I've had some problems lately when just the "crew" comes to clean without the person in charge.....Not dishonesty, just poor communication and some issues with quality that aren't being resolved.

Carla always came with her crew until she had her baby in January. I expect her to be back soon. In the meantime, things have been good without her.

I too, have been happy with our cleaning, sans Carla. I think she will be back from maternity leave soon, anyway. The two ladies who do our house don't have really good English, but Carla does. |

I would recommend Rita. She is 80 a week and we have a 6 bedroom house that is 3 stories. Let me know if you want her info. She is amazing. |

Tania is the lady I use and her people are great. I specify the same person each time and I LOVE them. Honest, thorough, pleasant. Her cell is 862 849 3887, just leave a message and she will call back. The first clean would probably be two people to get things "up to snuff" (you would only pay your agreed upon rate, not for the two people) and then just one from there on. Probably $75-$80 I would imagine.. |
