Please. If anyone has a highchair stashed away, and is comfortable loaning it out, would you please get in touch with me?
My nephew is coming for a week, and he is just about 2 yrs old. I have no toddler stuff, so any help is much appreciated.
A kind family is lending me a crib for the week, so thank you to all you generous good people out there!

I have one of those portable booster seats that I'd be happy to lend you. Easier to transport than a high-chair. It attaches to a regular chair via straps. You also strap the kid in and it has its own tray, or you can push the chair up to the regular table.

Check out the consignment store, Milk Money, located on Ridgewood Road in Maplewood near the S.Orange border. It's got a huge selection of gently used baby/kid stuff (clothes, paraphernalia, toys) for very reasonable prices. You could always re-consign it when you are done with it.

I have one that's been in the basement for awhile (well, since my son is 9 years old, I should probably say a loooooooooong while). I'd be happy to lend it to you. PL me.

and PS.. Doulamomma, I am also a certified doula. This is so nice, to meet and greet you online! It is such a happy job, and a much needed service in our fractured world, don't you agree?

Thank you for your kind offer, to which I shall say ''yes'' as I could definitely benefit by the loan of a stroller and some toys- just for that week when Jack visits me- and all of which I will return immediately after he goes home.
I know I am gushing, but it can't be helped; I am just crazy about my nephew. He came all the way from Korea to join our family! Like a wee angel, flying across the seas and from the far corner of the earth, just to be with us. We are so blessed to have him!
Your generosity is also a gift of hope for me.I sometimes wonder where all the goodness in people has gone... you all have surely revived my sense of community.
Gratefully,
Jersey Girl
