Do you know anyone who would take an adorable 7 year old indoor cat (female) who is extremely loving and low key? Her name is Celeste. She has all of her shots and is healthy. If you or someone you know is interested, please let me know and I can send you more info/picture. Thank you.

Why can't you keep her? Surely she would be better off in the home she has had her whole life.

She isn't my cat. She was my grandmother's cat, but my grandmother recently passed away and we need to find her a home. My husband is allergic unfortunately. Otherwise, I would take her in a second. If you know anyone, please let me know. I do not want to take her to a shelter. Thanks.

You can place an ad on www.petfinder.com. I suggest screening very carefully, and charging a small fee, to donate to a rescue organization if necessary. Do you live in Maplewood or South Orange? I could make a confidential suggestion, if so... not in this public forum.

My husband is allergic unfortunately.

Maybe you should be looking for a good allergist?

Also, if you have a photo you should post it. You just never know who will see her face and melt.
