TS needs to meet my dad & stepmom at Penn Station tomorrow at 4:30p. They will have a suitcase and my father (who doesn't like crowds) will be confused. I need a very simple, very obvious place to tell them to meet. They'll be taking a cab from the east side. I will probably tell them to have the cab pull around to the 8th Ave Amtrak entrance.

This needs to be really, really simple. No room for error.

Thoughts?

The Krispy Kreme? It is right near the Amtrak waiting area. It is hard to miss. I use that as a meeting place all the time.

Under the big board? Or, in front of Houlihan's?

Y's right. Go in at 8th and 33rd and at the bottom of the escalator to the right is the pretzel cart by Houlihan's, between the bathrooms. Easy as pie.

Thanks, Guys. I'm thinking Houlihans because if anyone is late, the other(s) can have a beer and chill out. My stepmom had hip replacement a few months ago & still doesn't walk really far*, so I want to keep them in that main area.

* Really far in NY/NJ <> Really far in Ohio.

What about staying outside, it may be a little less intimidating. There is a Mexican place right next to Duane Reade

I always find Houlihans the easiest to meet people.

Brett- that's too complicated; there is more than one Duane Reade in a 10 block radius.

If it's raining, they'll be inside.

Now I just have to tell them that TS is not picking them up at my brother's apartment.

Thanks, all! The drop was successful; TS just picked up the package.
