TS needs to meet my dad & stepmom at Penn Station tomorrow at 4:30p. They will have a suitcase and my father (who doesn't like crowds) will be confused. I need a very simple, very obvious place to tell them to meet. They'll be taking a cab from the east side. I will probably tell them to have the cab pull around to the 8th Ave Amtrak entrance. This needs to be really, really simple. No room for error. Thoughts? |

The Krispy Kreme? It is right near the Amtrak waiting area. It is hard to miss. I use that as a meeting place all the time. |

Under the big board? Or, in front of Houlihan's? |

Y's right. Go in at 8th and 33rd and at the bottom of the escalator to the right is the pretzel cart by Houlihan's, between the bathrooms. Easy as pie. |

Thanks, Guys. I'm thinking Houlihans because if anyone is late, the other(s) can have a beer and chill out. My stepmom had hip replacement a few months ago & still doesn't walk really far*, so I want to keep them in that main area. * Really far in NY/NJ <> Really far in Ohio. |

What about staying outside, it may be a little less intimidating. There is a Mexican place right next to Duane Reade |

I always find Houlihans the easiest to meet people. |

Brett- that's too complicated; there is more than one Duane Reade in a 10 block radius. If it's raining, they'll be inside. Now I just have to tell them that TS is not picking them up at my brother's apartment. |

Thanks, all! The drop was successful; TS just picked up the package. |
