Since the number at the Baird center to call for activites that may be canceled due to inclimate weather is never updated, how do we know when a game is canceled? |

Kibbie,
The number is usually updated when a decison is made to cancel games by 4:00 PM or possibly a little later. If there is still a possibility of playing after 5:00 PM players are usaully heading toward the field and the number most likely will not be updated.
We played on Monday even though it rained on and off. I don't remember any other day this week with threatening weather but my memory isn't always the greatest. |

What about practice? It doesn't seem like a practice would happen, but the phone # isn't updated as kibbie said... |

Are we talking about the Cal Ripkin T-ball/Baseball?
If so, my middle child was supposed to have a practice at 11:00 this morning. Called the coach who said there won't be a practice and even if it wasn't raining there probably wouldn't be a practice either because the fields (at Waterlands Park) would be too wet. |

My oldest has practice at 2:00, also at Waterlands, and I guess I'm going to assume the same holds true for then too: the fields will be too wet? Or does it depend on the coach? |

Our coach sent us an email last night telling us to check for email this morning between 10:15 and 10:30 about practice at 11. I checked at 10:20 and there was an email cancelling the practice. Great job! |

Rec department cancels games and updates the Code-a-Phone. Individual coaches cancel practices and usually notify their teams. |

My sister called the coach this morning about my nephew's practice. It was canceled. The kids were disappointed because they like to play. |
