...not to mention www.bbc.co.uk and ebay and monster.com ACK!! I should be doing homework! I have 3 papers/projects due at the end of the month, but instead of starting, I'm reading MOL. Are there twelve steps that can help me get a handle on this? |

Hi. I'm Lynn and I should be doing homework! I have three papers/projects due at the end of the month, but instead of starting, I'm reading MOL. Bella, if you figure it out do let me know. I took yesterday off from work to have a solid three-day weekend to catch-up on homework. It's Saturday afternoon and I have succeeded in moving my work from my desk to my chair. So I'm at my clutter-free desk and my work is yards away! (guess it worked. ) |

Okay, this is what I am trying. Once I write two paragraphs, I can pop back over to the internet from Word. I'll let you know how it works... now, back to Word and the joys of writing a self assessment. |

Bella, I just woke from a 90 minute nap and am heading out to dinner. All this procrastinating can really drain a person... |

While I devoured two delicious chapters of Kincheloe on Critical Pedagogy, my cat has been playing with a rubber band. I'm no closer to a thesis, but he seems to be having a blast! I should've been a cat. |

Bella: Post the homework on MOL? LAS: Write the thesis as a series of MOL posts? Sometimes when you can't beat them, it helps to join in. Seriously, I remember a few years ago that a number of us helped a student in England write a thesis on on-line communities by participating in a series of on-line discussions on topics he devised. so, perhaps the suggestion isn't all that far fetched. |

Not a bad idea at all, Joan. I was actually quite close to posting for help, instead I emailed one of our esteemed MOLers for some tactical assistance. I believe today will show some progress. (If not, see: orange tabby with rubber band.) |

So I was able to overcome my MOL addiction for a brief period of time but I seem to have had a relapse. Trying to work on a lesson plan here but there are just too many threads to catch up on. Sure is good to be back though! Good luck las and bella! |

Okay. I actually finished my self assessment on Saturday and then did absolutely NOTHING on Sunday. I still have to do an action plan, learning contract, and write an interview (interview has been done, just have to make sense of my notes.) At least, I think that is all I have to do. better go check out my syllabi. |
