Has anyone had any experience buying a recliner from La-z-boy (or anywhere else)? any thoughts on their quality, customer service, etc.? or suggestions on any place else to shop? (not online--I need to actually sit in the chair before I buy).
thanks, all...

I bought a La-z-boy recliner from their store on Rt 22, about 2 years ago. The sales person was very nice, explained the differences in their chairs etc, and they were able to deliver in about 2 days.

You should take some rough measurements and go look and sit.

Some chairs have to be farther from the wall behind them than others, if that's an issue for you.

The chair is great, very comfortable, maybe a little TOO comfortable..
Unfortunately, we gave ours to our son-in-law after knee surgery when he wasn't able to go upstairs in his house for a while, and they still have it!

Good luck!

Macy's (furniture store on Rt 22) had some nice ones (at least last year), some that don't even look like typical recliners.
