I tried google maps, but the it takes you to the Goethels Bridge via back roads through Elizabeth and Newark. I did this once before and it was very slow. Is it faster to take 78 to the Turnpike? |

78 to the Turnpike over the Verrazzano follow signs for Belt Parkway East take Coney Island exit |

Well, first you have to go over the Goethals, then travel the Staten Island Expressway before you get to the Verrazano. Justs get off exit 13 (or is it 13a?) of the Tpke to reach the Goethals. No need to go through the streets of Elizabeth. |
