This is fairly obscure, but where might I buy white cotton gloves in the area? Thanks in advance.

I have bought some utilitarian no-fingerprint type gloves at a framing store. I have heard that marching band supply places have them f0r adults. I bought them for the kid's Barclay Dance classes at Nordstroms (and Sealfons - closed). Come to think of it the gloves for the little girls were not cotton..they looked OK though. |

Bath & Body Works in the Livingston Mall used to sell them, but I'm not sure if they still do. |

How about a costume shop? I think there's one in Millburn on Main Street? |

You can get white or off-white gardening gloves at Home Despot. You might be able to get dress-up gloves for women at Talbot's or something like that. But what are you really after?

Tom, There are only really two reasons for these gloves. 1. Fanciness. Such as ballroom dance lessons. 2. Fetishes. The stores that sell them will cater to these two populations. And rarely do the two groups meet. Except on MOL. J.B. |

White cotton gloves are also used by librarians, archivists paper and art conservators, and other professionals who deal with fragile and rare materials. If that is what you need them for, you might try a company called Light Impressions, which is a supplier of archival and preservation matierials. They probably have a web site. |
