I know a lot of folks around here are former NYC residents, so I'm hoping someone might be able to refer me to a good broker to list my Fort Greene co-op.

I tried contacting someone off of the Corcoran website whose bio and experience seemed to mesh with what I'm looking for, but after an email on Sunday saying she'd call me it's now the end of the day Wednesday and I haven't heard from her. I'm not a high maintenance kind of person, but this seems like a poor first impression for someone in sales, especially with such a solid, effortless lead as I was. So, before I take my chances cold calling someone else, I thought I'd fish around to see if anyone here's got any suggestions -- send me a message if you do, and feel free to tell me your name so I can tell them who sent me.

I would be happy to recommend a wonderful realtor. His name is William Bolls & he also works at Corcoran. I don't have a doubt in my mind that he will call you back asap. He is very professional & very likable. He can be reached at:

(212) 875-2910
wkb@corcoran.com

I have no doubt that you'll be very pleased if you decide to work with William. - But, whatever your decision, I wish you the best of luck!!!

Fantastic, I was really hoping to find a broker that someone was enthusiastic about and I appreciate you recommending William -- I'll be giving him a call tomorrow. It was a big decision to finally sell this property and I'm disappointed and frustrated that it's started off with a fizzle rather than a bang, but I'm optimistic that things can turn around and get back on track soon!

Chris at CG Realty helped me find an apartment in the Heights. I'm renting, but he does sales, and says he usually gives sellers a break on the commission. A really nice guy, very diligent, and he's got 20 years experience in Brooklyn and specializes in property there. You can reach him at 718 596 4841 ext 1 or cgiunta@voicenet.com.

I just moved from Fort Greene, Brooklyn to Maplewood. I sold my co-op apartment in Fort Greene after 14 years living there. I would recommend Eva M. Daniels Realty to sell your co-op. Eva has been in the neighborhood for a long time. In fact, she found my apartment for me. Unfortunately, I don't have her phone number or e-mail address, but her office is on the cornor of Fulton Street and South Elliott Street. She charged 5% commission rather than the 6% Corcoran charges sellers. Good Luck.

Thanks everyone, this is so helpful! It turns out the first broker called me last night around 8 PM, but on a cell phone with such bad reception that I literally could not make out a single word she said. If I didn't have these new leads I'd be pretty depressed at the lack of momentum with this project, but now I'm ready to go out and make a change to someone new!
